The Alliance Française Christchurch is, in common with Alliance Française organisations all over the world, governed and directed by officers and committee in partnership with the administrator. The executive committee is elected annually by the local membership at the Annual General Meeting, and meets in accordance with the rules of the association.
The role of the committee includes:
To plan and implement the activities of the Alliance in close cooperation with the director;
To discuss cultural activities carried out by the Alliance;
To oversee administrative and financial matters in close cooperation with the director.
