🎥The last cycle of the Ciné-club!
“Pot-pourri” is the French word for "medley". Inspired by the medley that wraps up the album Abbey Road by The Beatles, this last cycle is a bunch of movies with no particular theme but which ends up on a high note. And it's the last cycle because I’m leaving the country in a few weeks. This marks the end of the AF'Cinéclub, at least for now. So long everybody! I hope you’ll like these last movies ;)
Michel Ocelot was a pillar of my childhood with movies like Kirikou or Azur & Asmar. His particular style, easely recognizable, is somethings that brings me many memories.
And as always, there'll be pop-corn! 🍿
Synopsis: Three tales, three ages, three worlds. At the time of Ancient Egypt, a young king becomes the first black pharaoh to deserve the hand of his loved one. During the French Middle Ages, a mysterious wild boy steals from the rich to give to the poor. In the 18th century Turkey, a prince of pastries and a princess of roses escape the palace to live their love.
Like every week, you're free to give kohas to help the Alliance!
And don't forget to book on the website in advance.
See you on Wednesday !!
Benjamin ;)
