Alliance Française Christchurch as an Exam Centre

The Alliance is the only accredited place in Christchurch for the DELF/DALF and DAEFLE diplomas. Alliance Française Christchurch is the official Exam Centre in Christchurch : our premises can be hired to sit official examinations and we can provide someone to oversee the exam if needed. Whether it is for international studies, immigration, work or just for your personal achievement, the Alliance Française Christchurch is where you need to come to have your level of French officially assessed and recognised.

French diplomas

1. DELF (Diplôme d’Etudes en Langue Française)
2. DALF (Diplôme Approfondi de Langue Française)

-> Official qualifications awarded by the French Ministry of Education to certify the competency in the French language of candidates from outside France.

• DELF/DALF are composed of 6 independent diplomas that correspond to the levels of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CECRL).
• There is no time limit to the validity of the diplomas. The diplomas are independent and the top levels of the DALF give access to all French universities and to an ever growing number of European and francophone universities, eliminating the need for pre-admission French language tests.
• Both the DELF and the DALF diplomas are ideal additions to your resumés as their quality is recognized all over the world, notably by French and European employers.
• We also organise dedicated classes to prepare students for the examinations.
