French School French classes

French school - one day school 

A course based on the French primary school curriculum and adapted to the students' level, in order to help them maintain their level of French and develop a bilingual education that will allow the participating children to increase their socio-linguistic skills. Please note that we may have different levels in the classes.

In class, our qualified teachers follow different FLE (Francais Langue Etrangère) methods as well as interactive and fun activities to develop writing and reading skills in French, maths, biology, history, etc.

Classes are taught by native French teachers from Alliance Française de Christchurch. All our teachers are qualified in teaching FLE (French as a second language) and/or trained as primary school teachers in France. 

 Who: Kids between 6 and 11 years old
  When: Thursdays 9AM to 3PM
 Where: At our premises 275 Cashel Street, Christchurch Central
 Price: $65/day/child*

*This is a provisional price, while the programme is being piloted at the start of 2024. The price will change depending on uptake.
*The programme will not go ahead if there are insufficient enrolments.
*Enrollment is for the whole term.
